Look at me go!

So I know I was going to update daily... Life... What can you do?

Anyway, today was fantastic!


Look at all that green. I really should have gone for it and went upstairs one more time...

I actually had a great day. My body was looking fantastic, which is not something I say very often. I'm currently doing an insanity workout six days a week and running four days a week. It's starting to show in my thighs and stomach. I'm waiting for my arms to start firming up. I might have to add back in a day or two of lifting. I'm noticing as I'm losing the weight my arms are getting bat wing like and that's not pretty. The jiggle is getting to be quite annoying. 

Two more weeks until the Nationwide Children's Hospital half and full marathon. I'm getting reallly excited for it. Nine months of running and I am actually really starting to love the sport. Who knows, I might run the full marathon next year (I'm only doing the half this year). I do plan on completing a full Olympic lenth triathlon next year some time. This winter I'm going to focus on swimming again. It's going to feel great to be in the pool.

Final fun update: Current weight is 191.2 pounds. That's a 20 pound loss from February. I'm actually wearing smaller sized clothing than I did my senior year of high school when I was my lightest. So that's a huge deal right there. Now to just continue. Just have 16 more pounds to go to reach the weight I was when I graduated high school, which is the goal right now.

And I have been doing really well with the 90 challenge. The only problem right now is the fact that it's too few calories each day if I follow it strickly (two shakes, one meal, two snacks). So I've been keeping my meals to 350 to 400 calories and drinking the two shakes as my snacks. It's working out well for me this way. Also, my water intake is at a great level. Staying hydrated is what helps everything work after all.
