So yeah
I haven't been good at all in terms of staying healthy. I've put back on the few pounds I lost during the Advocare thing. Thankfully the inches havent come back. Clothing is fitting a little tighter than before. I can blame it on the fact that I started a new job that requires me to be up really early each morning. By the time I get home I don't want to do anything. I have started running a couple miles a day around my house but there's only so far I feel safe to run at 4 and 5 am. I need to start going to the Y and/or to boxing after work each day and both on the weekends. It will require me most likely taking gym stuff with me to work.
To help get back into the working out all the time again, I signed up for a run streak challenge through Runner's World and also a triathlon training program through the Y. Between the two I should be able to get things back on track again. And on the plus side, it's almost summer and with the warmer temps comes the reduced appetite and the amazing in season array of fruits and veggies. The goal is to be ready for the fall races and to feel ready most importantly.
I'm going to try and blog about it all on a consistent basis..try...
