Reconnecting

My horoscope a few days ago said that I would be reconnecting with people from my past. I normally don't pay that much attention to my horoscope. I just like reading them. This one though has to be the most on-point one in a while. Today I have talked to two friends of mine that I haven't talked to in over a year. Both contacted me. I talked to my friend Tom, who's daughter called me mom for about six months before she learned my name, texted me around lunch time and we talked for a while. It wasn't the best conversation ever and some things he said reminded me why we stopped talking. But the highlight of my day was talking to my other friend Ben who is recently free from jail. I won't go into what he was in for, but it's something he has learned from the hard way. He's on house arrest and has 3 months left. It'll be close to his birthday when he's completely free (well aside from probation...) and I think there will have to be a huge party in celebration.

I'm still loosing weight and need to start riding my bike everyday if I want to get my awesome legs back. Today I did well and only ate about 1200 calories, mostly vegetables and some ham. I'm dehydrated so the choice drink today has been water in massive amounts. Damn heat and humidity...
