My poor toes

All week I wore heels to work. For the most part they were comfy. I didn't realize how sore my feet were as a result until two miles into my "easy" four mile run. It felt like I had giant blisters on the balls of both feet. I didn't let it stop me but I'm definitely paying for it. I'm walking funny. Added to the foot issue, once again my feet slid forward in my shoes and my toes are bruised. No blisters today so that's a plus. I just have to figure out a different lacing for my shoes to stop the slide.

Tomorrow is a scheduled six miles at "race pace." I'm sure I can do it. Hell my first mile to day was done in ten minutes. That's right. I logged my first ever 10 minute mile. Then I faded fast and averaged fourteen minute miles. My goal race pace is 12 minute miles. I can do it. Just have to focus.
