Day Twenty
Part 2
Had a fun night after a slow day in the gallery. Celebrated a birthday with cake and champagne. The cake was awesome--rainbow. And by rainbow, I mean rainbow. It was a marble like cake with six colors running through it so it really looked like a rainbow. It was an okay tasting cake, but I think that was due to the amount of food dye in it. Food dye, especially when the colors are that bright, changes the taste of the cake. The frosting was nice whipped slightly sweet version. I ended the night with a headache from the champagne. I need to remember not to drink so much next time.
I did end the night with a nice discussion about religion and politics. Nothing heated. Just an intellectual discussion about the why. I fell asleep around two and was woken by two adorable children at nine.
It's sad that the show is over. But I get to have a nice vacation before heading home. I'm planning on doing a bunch of things while I'm here that I haven't been able to do yet. Mainly hang out in New York and do a little shopping. I need new jeans.
