Restarting
Due to the injuries over the last few months and then being completely sidelined by a sprained ankle, my training has been set back. I'm currently less than a month out from my 1/2 marathon and I'm barely able to get to 10 miles before my ankle cries "uncle." I stopped wrapping it for a run as my foot swells during the run and I was causing injuries to my foot. Now I'm just trying to be consistent with my runs. I'm not sure I'm going to be close to my wanted pace during the 1/2 marathon but that was never really the goal. I'm looking to just finish it. Thursday I will finally run my 11 mile loop through town. If I have to walk the whole thing so be it. I have to do this as Sunday is my scheduled 12 miles and the following Sunday is the full 13.1 miles before I start tapering for the finall weeks before the race. My ankle has to cooperate.
