Starting over, again
I posted the below status on Facebook a few minutes ago:
So I've been thinking about starting my Visalus business back up fully. I keep thinking I'm spending a lot of time getting healthy, like I've never done before, and why not make some money at it and help others do the same. Little graphics keep popping up on my Pinterest, Twitter, and Facebook news feeds telling me that what I do when I'm trying to avoid doing what I'm supposed to be doing, is actually what I should do with my life. Right now I work out instead of doing homework, for example. I have prioritized my health over my education and career, which is not a bad thing. I have less stress (even with the need to find a new income source by the end of the year), and overall I'm feeling amazing. This is something I've been thinking about for a few months now, and this is the best time. Even with my current income level being what it is, I can do so much to change that. So let's get this started!
This year has been so full of changes, why stop now? The next few months I'm going to start, again, the Body by Vi 90 day challenge. Those of you who have read this blog for a while, know this is not the first time I've started over with this challenge. This time, I'm in a place where I can truly focus on it and do it through completion. I'm going to log as much as I can here, including screen shots each day from my Fitbit dashboard as an update, starting with this one from today (Sept 29):
I need to start walking more to reach my 10,000 step daily goal. It isn't hard at work as the building is a quarter mile from end to end. I just need to walk it a few times each night.
Tomorrow (Sept 30) will mark day one of the restart with the 90 day challenge. As I have proven this year so far, I can do anything I want. Tomorrow is also a day that I will run the longest and furthest I have ever run. I'll be honest, even if it means I'm late for work, it will be done. 10 to 11 miles is the goal.
