Just Realized
I haven't posted in a couple days.
The stuff for the Body by Vi 90 Day Challenge came two days ago. Now this mix is not my favorite thing in the world to drink, but compared to other protein shake mixes, this one is delicious. The one really great thing about this mix is it blends nicely into smoothies and milkshakes (yes I added it to a milkshake I had last night).
I have noticed that I'm retaining water like crazy. If I take a day and not workout, I balloon up by five pounds. Sunday I didn't do much aside from walking around town. I don't walk slowly so I actually get a decent workout when I'm just taking a walk. I weighed myself Monday morning and I had magically put on five pounds. I almost died. So I did two runs of the newest workout and that weight just dropped off. Now if it had been actual fat/weight put on, it wouldn't have come off that easily. So I can't take time off, I have to workout to keep the water off. Damn.
I'm also getting fluid on my knee again. Great. Just great. My right knee is the one that I've always injured and as a result, I tend to favor it which has actually caused injury to my left knee. The damage to the left knee is worse than the right and so now I'm starting to get fluid on my knee. I'm hoping it doesn't become a huge problem where I have to go have it drained. I guess when it stops draining on its own, I'll know it's become an issue.
So today, I'm starting to switch the way I eat. Breakfast is going to be the large, best meal of my day. Small snacks of nuts and fruit are going to be my between meal foods to keep me going. Lunch and dinner are now my ViShake meals. I have noticed that when I work out at night or later in the day, I'm not hungry like I used to be. Yay for that. The only thing though is I'm craving chocolate like never before. I need to get a supply of it to just have around. And I'm thinking good quality chocolate so I'm less tempted to just eat it all in one sitting. I'm feeling a trip to Nectar tomorrow.
